About ICT

The robust Hwange Colliery Company I.C.T department offers the company`s internet and email services, runs and maintains the company`s ERP system, internal website, company network, telephone and radio systems. It also maintains and services the various ICT software and hardware components. We are also the custodians of HCCL DATA which we protect against all known ICT threats.

In addition to the existing array of systems we are working actively to keep up-to date with current technological trends and constantly working to improve financial information management, electronic information management and radio communications. We recently added to ICT the Systems Development section which is mandated to come up with HCCL tailor made systems. We also provide a Help Desk function for assisting our valued users.

    Our work goes beyond the desk to taking part in activities that benefit our surrounding community and make our presence as I.C.T known. We are actively involved in the training of college students who are in the ICT field. We have a P.A system for corporate and non-corporate events around the community. We also provide ICT solutions for our schools.
